LIFEgroups Loving Individuals through Fellowship and Evangelism What is a LIFEgroup? A LIFEgroup is a group of six to fifteen people who form a community to experience the love of God, grow in relationship with others, and reach out with that love and relationship to a lost and hurting world. |

What does a LIFEgroup do? A LIFEgroup gets together weekly (or biweekly) for a time of fellowship, sharing, worship, discussion, and prayer. Occasionally the group will forego its usual routine for a special fun night or organized outreach. The most important aspect of LIFEgroups are what goes on among the members between the scheduled meetings: lunches, e-mails, pizza and a movie, yard work, dates, golf, potlucks, shopping, camping trips, LIFE! The Vision of LIFEgroup: Upward Loving God (Mt 22:37) LIFEgroups exist to glorify God, as a place to seek His face, grow in His ways, and serve in His name. Jesus is always the welcomed guest at a LIFEgroup. Inward Loving One Another (John 13:34) LIFEgroups are a place to join with others in the journey of life. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says, Two are better than one if one falls down, his friend can help him up. So are we to build one another up! Outward Loving Your Neighbor (Luke 10:27) LIFEgroups attempt to take the church to where the people are; homes, offices, etc. LIFEgroups provide a safe place to bring the seeker, the hungry, the lost. Jesus said, Go and make disciples! What about children? Children are not only invited, they are welcomed in LIFEgroups. The children participate in many of the activities of the group, but also at times have their own separate track of activities. The responsibility of caring for the children is a shared task of all in a LIFEgroup. Remember, these are called LIFEgroups! Future of LIFEgroups:
