The Well Community

Jesus replied, “People soon become thirsty again after drinking this water. But the water I give them takes away thirst altogether. It becomes a perpetual spring within them, giving them eternal life.” - John 4:13-14 (NLT)

WHo are we?

The Well Community meets on Cliff Temple's campus to serve alongside those who struggle with mental illness - offering hope and healing through the power of faith, friendship, and best-practice interventions. Founded in 2002, the Well Community (“the Well”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. What started as a simple church outreach to a handful of people has grown into a flourishing, holistic ministry among adults recovering from serious mental illness. The Well’s philosophy of care, relational interventions, and holistic rehabilitation combine to make a significant impact upon those we are called to serve.

The Well Community seeks to engage people in a life-giving community. Therefore, these programs are people- and relationship-focused. Volunteers are always welcome, and we are happy to meet with you and facilitate a tour to help you better understand the program. If you would like for someone to come and speak to your organization about our programing or about the issue of faith and mental illness, a staff member with our Community Awareness & Education program would be happy to help.
