Well Community
Jesus replied, “People soon become thirsty again after drinking this water. But the water I give them takes away thirst altogether. It becomes a perpetual spring within them, giving them eternal life.” - John 4:13-14 (NLT)
WHo are we?
The Well Community meets on Cliff Temple's campus to serve alongside those who struggle with mental illnesses - offering hope and stability through the power of faith, friendships, and life-skills training. Founded in 2002, the Well Community (“the Well”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. What started as a simple church outreach to a handful of people has grown into a flourishing, holistic ministry among adults recovering from serious mental illness. The Well provides a safe place, away from stigma and isolation where individuals are welcomed, respected and included. For those often marginalized, the Well is a place to belong.
Volunteers are always welcome, and they we are happy to meet with you and facilitate a tour to help you better understand the program. If you would like for someone to come and speak to your organization about our Well Community’s programing or about the issue of faith and mental illness, a staff member would be happy to help.
